The shooting took place around on Alder Street in Yonkers, between Elm Street and Spruce Street, at 9:35 p.m. Wednesday, said Yonkers Police Sgt. Dean Politopoulos.
The victim was found shot in the back with what Politopoulos said were non-life-threatening injuries.
"The case is currently under investigation," said Politopoulos said. "At this time, that is all the information available."
